Creative Tiles Community Murals involve hundreds of participants. Made of small pantings on wood panels or ceramic tiles, each mural expresses the richness and importance of diversity within a community. Seen from up close, each picture is unique and different. From a distance, the overall design becomes apparent.
My responsibility as an artist is to emphasize contrasts and similarities by designing harmonious designs that tie each individual picture to the mural as a whole, a visual reminder of the importance of tolerance and the beauty of diversity.
